New! Caron One Pound, Caron Simply Soft and Herrschners 2-Ply Afghan palettes - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!

New!  The Herrschner's Worsted Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!

New!  We've just added the palette for Deborah Norville Everyday Yarn!  If you knit and/or crochet, this is for you.  This is a beautiful yarn with a nice feel to it, a good alternative in worsted weight acrylic!  (Thank you again to BetwixtTheStitch!)

New!  The Red Heart Super Saver Palette - thank you to BetwixtTheStitch!

Welcome to Stitchboard!  Feel free to sit and stay awhile.  Check out our new Premier features.  In addition to the ability to create larger patterns (up to 500 stitches wide), illusion knitting and private labeling (no more worries about editing those pesky and messy PDFs), we've just introduced Filet Crochet, our most popular request!  We have many more features planned, too!  Laughing

i am new need help creating a pattern

Veronica,
You're so welcome! Kiss
You're not just a good stitcher - you're a fast stitcher, too, apparently! Kiss I'm pokey slow. Laughing
I hope you'll have it done by Xmas! Kiss Do you have a local framer that knows how to frame cross stitch? That's something that has been hard to find wherever I've lived. Plenty of framers, but not ones who know how to frame cross stitch. Frown
Please feel free to keep sharing pictures of your progress! Kiss

I have been cross stitching for a million years and am excited to find this site with the pattern wizard. I have tried a few others...even some that I bought ...but the detail is not there. I did try the wizard and it shows lots of detail! I am curious how others handle the outlining. Is it just whatever you think looks right or is there a system as I have only done patterns with it included. Also how do you download it to your account. I have tried the download button but it just downloads to my computer and not to my account. I must be missing something easy. I have tried 2 different patterns but account still says no downloads. I must be blonde! LOL! Also, any clues where to get discontinued patterns? I did one of the Viet Nam Memorial and want to do another but can't find the pattern since we moved. I went on Annies and several others but no longer available. I think it was a Dimension or possibly Sunset or Janlynn. Pretty sure it was Dimension though.

Hi, EddyCatt.

Yes, Melanie's been asking and asking me about C2C and actually just showed me some finished work yesterday so I know more about it.

Remember, I'm not a stitcher but just a simple-minded programmer/mathemetician so I have to turn everything I see into formulas.

I'm not sure yet when it'll be available but I can tell you it's very high on our list.  I need to turn on about 5 new features first.  Hopefully these will be all up and running during June.  (The C2C is one of several new features after the next 5.)

Melanie,

It is almost beautifull that crafting most of the time is the same around the globe.. It makes it a bit easier to talkt about on forums like this Cheesy

Can't wait for winterbreak.. Only 4-5 weeks left.. Cheesy And all the other breaks coming up.. Like easter break.. :p And then: exams.. Yikes.. I have 9 of them this year.. Only 1 written exam though.. In math..

I hear you about the shirt no one gets to see.. I also have clothes that no one gets to see.. I have this oversize t-shirt with an elephant on it, it has holes everywhere.. It's really in a bad shape.. But it's so wonderfull to wear, can't get myself to throw it out..

Big hooks are the best.. I am looking for some really big omes.. like 10mm and up.. Don't know what I will make with it, but I NEED them..
I would love to make something with zpaghetti yearn, bout it is very hard for shoulders and wrists.. :/ Not sure if I can handle that..

I don't curse, I just get mad when patterns are frustrating.. And if they are really frustrationg I will throw the work over in a corner while teaching it about life.. :p LOL..

Hugs Cheesy
